Jill has been a health coach at Aspire Wellness since April of 2018. She worked in health education for 12 years prior to joining our office. She has been on the weight loss rollercoaster her entire life until she lost 55 pounds on the protocol and has maintained it since. This protocol has felt like a miracle! She enjoys the connection she gets to have with her clients on the journey of life transformation through food and supporting them as they change their lives. She is also a group fitness instructor at two local gyms and feels privileged to share health and fitness with her clients.
Jill grew up in New York state and moved to Mount Vernon her senior year of high school. She lives in Conway with her husband, 2 sons, and 2 dogs. She loves to read, organize, and hang out with friends and family. She can often be found shopping consignment looking for great finds and styling her friends. Fashion/ styling is one of her favorite hobbies – when you need a new wardrobe she is always up to help!
Autumn began coaching with us early fall 2019. Autumn received her health coaching certification through Dr Sears Wellness Institute. She also has developed personal study and research over the years through her own weight loss journey. She is not at all new to the trials and errors of weight loss, having been on the journey her whole life before the IP protocol. She has now lost 53 pounds and is currently maintaining that loss and working on her daily maintenance habits and building strength.
Autumn, who was originally from California, moved to beautiful Whidbey Island when she was a freshman in high school. She still lives in the Oak Harbor community, where she is mother to 2 human sons, ages 21 and 15, and 1 fur son. She loves music and getting out in the spring and summer to enjoy all the events her community has to offer. Autumn loves all things health and beauty related, including hiking/walking, online shopping, fashion, and beauty products. She uses these things to encourage and inspire other women to find their own personal style and joyful beauty. She won’t miss the chance to laugh and be silly while enjoying time with her family or friends.
Healthy and strong is the actual meaning to her name, Valerie. It makes sense why she has enjoyed finding new ways to improve her health and why she loves to teach others how they can do the same. When Valerie found out about health coaching, she jumped on the bandwagon to enroll in the Health Coach Institute (HCI). Once she was done with her schooling, she quickly realized she still had a lot to learn and desired to find a place she could go to get in as much experience as possible. That’s when Valerie was referred by a friend to visit Aspire Wellness! Once she joined the team, she knew she was in the perfect place to grow and work with a wonderful staff and amazing clients.
Health coaching is Valerie’s passion but it’s not the only thing she does with her time. When she’s not coaching and it’s the winter season, she is usually decorating her home for the holidays, doing house chores, or shopping at as many thrift stores as possible with her mother-in-law. During the summer months, she gets active with kayaking, camping, hiking, gardening, DIY projects, and going to as many parks with her dog, Bristol. Throughout the year she tries to maintain family time, takes walks with her dog and husband, trains in Ju-Jitsu, does yoga, cooks up new recipes, and spends time with friends. It’s all within good balance because there are days when Valerie does absolutely NOTHING and she loves it!!!
